I never would have imagined that a “weedy version” of Verbascum (aka Mullein) would volunteer to grow in close proximity to my pretty “garden catalog version” of Verbascum in my garden bed and turn out to be a magically healing plant that helped me through some health issues over the winter! Here the two Verbascum friends are connected by my sweet Coreopsis “Moonbeam” and I wonder what friends will turn up in this year’s garden bed!
