60 x 40 inches, Oil on Canvas

Sometimes I feel like this farmer, way out in his lonely field, trying to wrestle some goodness out of the earth, and the scary winds, which are called chinooks, offer resistance and challenges in the upward struggle. I try to wrestle goodness out of humanity and the name “chinook” quells my fear of the wind because it is a cute word and helps me in my quest.
