This was a day of wonderful sunshine and breezes. I gathered a bouquet of phlox from Irina’s garden and brought them, along with some other still life “ingredients”and set up this scene in Jeanette’s garden in amongst her fabulous hibiscus bush. This is my favorite way to begin a painting! I hope you enjoy my effort and the extraordinary contribution of the sun and the earth and the bugs and breezes!
